Test Scores speak for themselves, but the teachers are both supporting and challenging at the same time. Ft. Meigs has the largest enrolement, the fact that it received Excellent with distinction with that many students will tell you how strong the teacher's perform with all levels of abilities. To be up front, my wife teaches here, as well as our oldest daughter attends, but I see the amount of preperation that the staff dedicates to a normal day. I'm proud and confident our children will be prepared when they move to the next level of schools.
Considering the teachers here, they are superb and quality driven. Ohio reads is adapted, they care for students to excell. Mrs. Schooley knows the children by name and is very professional. This school is very sports driven, and that can be a negative if your child doesn't participate. Very large parent involvement. This school does have a share of cliques, but the teachers and principal do not tend to tolerate it if it is pointed out to them.
