I used to attend Rittman High School, and ever since I moved, I realized that, though Rittman is a small school, it is just as advanced as larger schools, if not better, when it comes to the curriculum. The fine art courses, especially the band, are excellent, and the teachers are very friendly and can be both strict and friendly towards students.

I really like the size of the school, however would like to see more participation from all students in sporting events and extra cirricular events. Seems like you always see the same students. Mr M. I agree is a strong leader for the students and commands respect from everyone. I don't see alot of parental support other than the Boys sports. It would be nice to see alot more support for the girls and co-ed events (Band and Choir). All in all I have raised 2 and have 2 children to go all four will graduate in Rittman. Go RHS

Rittman Schools are doing okay. I strongly believe more school spirirt and traditions sould be brought back i.e. clubs, sports, or picnic tables outside. I would strongly encourage this because it would make it a better atmosphere for the kids, and a enjoyable place to go.

I'm very pleased with the principal as he is very strict with the kids yet has a good relationship with them. He really earns their respect. I enjoy the graduation ceremonies as there is no disrespectful actions and Mr M is right on top of the program. The only thing I can think of at the moment to improve on is to start some traditions that carry through to every class. ie class song that is played at the graduation every year or after the exit of the graduation class a song sung by the class from the lobby while the rest of the audience listens in the gym. Orrville sings the school song in the lobby after graduation and eveyone knows as it is tradition. Traditons are important and make the school special. Would like to see more of that. That can help to bring the school closer and the kids to have that to be their own. They need to take ownership of their school and that might help. School spirit needs to be a part of the school. So far my children have had good experiences at Rittman. Lets make it even better.
