Great school 1 child in middle school now one still at Surrarrer in 1st grade. School has special needs program so children are exposed which is quite beneficial to them in life. Teachers are great and very easy to work with. Love it here great place to raise your family.....really good neighboorhood with volunteers to help out everywhere. You won't be sorry!!

Great school in an excellent school district. New School board now works together instead of constant personal agendas and is extremely responsive with the sole agenda being the well being and success of the the students. STRONGSVILLE IS A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE A FAMILY!

No child left behind? Children First? It is just a saying at Surrarrer. Children are not given the direction and learning experiences needed for quality learning. Many students are rude to the staff, parents and other students and are allowed to continue. The new principal, turns his back on the students and doesn't return parents phone calls. He is not involved with helping and can't even tell you the children's names. The class sizes are large and children are left behind. There are many staff members who are trying to help. Teachers call and e-mail parents, but the principal will not back the teachers. Many teachers will go out of their way to assist parents and students, but the principal will not help or promote positive learning. The music program is outstanding!

Under the leadership of Mr. McCully the school has improved dramatically. The lack of respect from the children is still quite evident. Perhaps the parents should spend a day in the life....

There are 29 students in my child's class. I cannot believe how rude some of them are, and how badly they behave. There seems to be a lack of control. Regarding other problems at the school, the board refers them one to another and no one wants to assume responsibility and in the end the issue is denied and shelved. The transportation department needs new management. I expected much better with the reputation that Strongsville has.

Five principals in five years. The calibur of teachers (some) is uncomprehensible. Role models for our children? Never would I want to have my daughter raised in that environment. The amount of help from the school board is non-existent. The school board's involvement consists only of 'lip service'.
