Zanesviile high school is a great school. Although the school is trashy, the school is still a great place to be. The teachers there are great and are willing to do whatever necessary to help their students succed. Zanesville probably has more diversity than most schools in the country and students are open to people of different race. At ZHS students are not judged based on thier race, because everyone is accepted. Zanesville also has great school pride. In my opinion, Zanesville is one of the best schools to go to in the state.
I use to go to zhs! i loved it. I got along with most of the other students. The teachers knew how to help all of us, no matter what we were or are going thrugh! I would love to go back to zhs, but probaly wont get to.
My children attend ZHS through open enrollment and I couldn't be happier. They are both honor students who have wonderful teachers who go out of their to give them the highest level of education possible. I like the diversity of the school and feel it gives my kids insight to the 'real world', where not everyone shares the same economic and social background. Are there problems? Of course - just like in EVERY other high school in our county. Our students have much to be proud of and are ultimately successful.
our school is trashy, we have so many problems it's sad. Diversity is great, but we have many ghetto kids who smoke in our bathrooms. We're getting a new school, but I think students will just trash it up again. As a member of the band and an honors student, I learn a lot and am happy with my opportunities, but I can't afford to do many things because our school makes us pay for everything because we have no funding! Quit sending new students, but don't send them to the racist schools in the area, if you must live in Zanesville, the city school is the best, but just avoid our town if you can...
this school is all about education and now they make the kids pay to play sports. its a great school
This school caters to the advantaged kids. There is a safety issue and a serious bullying problem. There is a problem with allocating resources and access to teaching and coaching within the extracurriculars.
Zanesville schools are the greatest! I have taught there for 18 years and sent all three of my children to the schools. The diversity of the students is the best experience any parent should want for their children. The world is full of a variety of people. Thank God my children learned that they should learn to get along with anyone! trina vandegriff
ZHS can be a great school, there are great students equal to students at any other school in the nation. The problem is most of the focus is expended to nullify the bad students. In conclusion, there are great students with great opportunities, hopefully the school will show some effort to develop these students. If they did this they would develop great students who are as capable as any other students in the U.S. or world.
Im not sure how to rate it but I do know they must not keep an eye on the kids .My daughter started this schoolthis year and so far its bad.
The school is a gret place to attend. I think that the programs offered at ZHS are adequate and the teachers are great. At zanesvile you get a chance to meet a a variety of people...great school
