This school is great with the students, but has poor parent teacher communication. The teachers have little to do with the parents, and leave before the end of day, and either leave the parent hanging or have the parent ask the assastant, in the end the parent is still hanging because the assastant is not able to give the parent the information. Enjoy the school, dislike the most the staff.
This school provides an incredible experience for children. Learning takes place in a one on one teacher to child atmosphere. My children are exposed to so much more than public school allows - high level math in early elementary, geography, reading at age 3, understanding why not just regurgitating memorized facts. All this in a peaceful and loving environment!
Cimarron Montessori School in Enid is awesome! It was recently voted 'Best Private School' in the local newspaper's readers choice section. My 3 and 4 year old go there and what they know is amazing, especially in relation to what other children their age (not attending CMS) know. My 3 year old knows all the continents, speaks limited Spanish, and more. My 4 year old is starting to read and can do math problems that are on the 2nd grade level. The children really enjoy it and they love their teachers! Parental involvement is almost 100%. It lays a great educational foundation for children and truly is 'planting seeds of knowledge' (the school motto).
