when my daughter started 2nd grade she was hardley even able to read, with the effort of Mrs. Bailey, Mrs. Crow and the teacher aides my daughter can read just about anything...they have turned it into a passion for her. the school is wonderful for any child that you want to grow up with down home values!!!

This school definately needs new leadership. There is so much controversy at this little school. I do not feel that my child needs are being met. I do feel that there are good teachers, however I do not feel that all of the administrators at this school district are involved with the students. They are just collecting a paycheck.

Good small school and the teachers and principal are involved with the students.

I feel that this school needs to be lead in by someone other than the current principal. The classes at times have more than 30 children, most have more than 24. The needs of the students are not being met either. The parents have to bring the paper to the school so that the teachers can make copies. There are a few teachers that don't have the workbooks needed to adequately do their job. My hope is that the leadership at this school is re-evaluated, the support for teachers/students starts at the very top and for whatever reason Glencoe's children/teachers are not having their needs met.
