Our teachers and principal are wonderful to the kids. A lot of effort goes into raising test scores each year. Although the scores may seem low, they represent the changing population of the neighborhood, not the quality of teaching. Parent involvement has gone up this year in all areas: school events, PTA and Booster Club. The new school addition insures that Hoover will be a long-term facility and everyone is excited about the growth! Soccer, football, basketball, and baseball are all offered. I may be biased as PTA President, but my kids have been in this school for several years. We also had a chance to transfer to Hugh Bish, but were happy to remain at Hoover (soon to be Ridgecrest). I hope that helps!
