This is an excellent school. My twins entered school here while in pre-k, and they are now in kindergarten. There are wonderful teachers, curriculum and a good diversity of students.

I have really liked Greenwood. The teachers are very caring and have gone the extra mile for my children. I like the STAR program that exposes students to the arts... went to the ballet in Tulsa this year. The TLC program after school has also been very beneficial. Ditto to the previous review about the facilities. They are working on this, but need to do a lot more. I think the new principal this year has been good for the school.

Greenwood is a large elementary school. I think they do an excellent job of identifying children with special needs. Most of the teachers seem to care and 'know' their students. As in most schools, there are a few that are ready for retirement. The PTA is very active and supportive of the school. The facility, as with most public schools, needs some work. Overall it is in good shape. It seems like a happy school and with an elementary, I feel that is important.
