I have three children at EIS and couldn't be happier! Aside from the obvious benefit of learning a second language in an immersion environment, Eisenhower has the added benefit of being a small, very close-knit community with a culture all its own. From Hispanic Festival for the Spanish students and Mardi Gras for the French students to on-site extracurricular activities like ever-popular chess club, Orf ensemble, Geography Club, Run Club, Typing Club, Art classes, Acting classes, etc - there's something for every interest at EIS. Kids are encouraged to explore global cultures and learn tolerance, acceptance and social responsibility through the diverse student body, opportunities to participate in international exchange programs and canned food/clothing/coin drives for charity. EIS supports provides a fantastic environment with caring, creative and skilled teachers, a principal who takes the time to know every student, parent and sibling and outstanding academics. There couldn't be a better environment for a kid to grow up and build his/her confidence.

The language immersion program is excellent; scholastically, EIS literally can't be beat! The teachers and staff are truly committed and love the children, the parents are actively involved. The school has not just local but global awareness and involvement. Encouragement and active involvement in running and athletics for health and for fun! Amazing art and drama and music for all children. 100% well-rounded education, excellent in every catagory, Truly wonderful school!!

EIS is awesome. The kids are consistently challenged by being immersed in a foreign language. Parent participation is great.

They are teaching my grandchildren to speak French as well as enhancing their English skills. As a retired teacher, when I enter this building I see immediately, happy children, smiling teachers, a clean building, and lovely things displayed for all to see.

Eisenhower has been ranked the top school in the state, based on a variety of criteria. The needs of the children come first and everyone strives for excellence. No school is perfect, but EIS comes pretty darn close.
