This is our second year at Seven Peaks, and we couldn't be happier. The school is just big enough to offer a well-rounded set of opportunities (including some AMAZING art, PE, music, and Spanish instruction) but small enough for the staff to greet both kids and parents by name -- in fact, the principal and/or other staff members step outside to do just that each morning as the kids arrive. Seven Peaks is a rare, special kind of place where it seems *everyone* puts their heart and soul into what they do -- from the talented, professional, and caring teachers and staff to the students themselves and their parents. It's a very warm, welcoming, and vibrant community that we are grateful to be a part of.

I am a teacher at Seven Peaks and I believe that we have a wonderful, nurturing environment for our students. The Core Knowledge Curriculum is a spiraling curriculum that builds on foundations of thought built from day 1. The teachers are warm and friendly. The aides are helpful and willing and the support staff is amazing as well. Parents work together with teachers to produce the best overall environment for students.

We are parents of a preschool student and have been familiar with Seven Peaks for years. We are so impressed with the quality of education and the sense of community at the school. The core knowledge program provides children with a strong moral foundation as well as an excellent academic education. (The kids' test scores that we have seen have been outstanding.) All parents are required to contribute to the school with some level of volunteer hours. The result is that all parents at Seven Peaks are invested in the school and truly care about their children's education. We have been really impressed with the teachers and the general environment at Seven Peaks.

We have been a family at SPS for 8 years. Our oldest is now in 7th grade, our middle in 5th, and our daughter in Junior Kindegarten. We love it here! The academics are rigorous, the art and music are fabulous, technology and language are superb, and the overall community feel is beyond words. Classes are small, with lots of teacher directed learning and positive kid interaction. The Core Knowledge program emphasizes what your child must know at each grade level and builds on itself very strongly. The Core Virtues program strongly supports a healthy community of strong and involved kids. Parent volunteerism is required and adds so much to this lively, fabulous school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
