Fabulous neighborhood school that provides opportunities to learn about sustainable living practices. Huge grant for solar panels, a School Garden Project and many years of composting! Situated so that most students are able to walk/bike to school. A racism-free zone.

Adams is what all schools in Eugene strive to be. Adams is diverse socio-economically and culturally. Adams consistently scores among the highest in the district in Math, Reading and Writing. My son loves school, students are kind to each other and proud of their school.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
