Other than the principal, who meets low standards, this school is excellent in all areas.

I think that HilHi has poor morale and education value meaning that it defintely doesn't meet my standards.

My Son has attended Hihi for the past three years.Hilhi exceeds the standards with its outstanding Teachers and Counselors. The programs and support they give to each student is just Superior.

This has been one awesome school for my freshman son. There is lots to be involved with, not just sports. Academics are excellent and the teachers are superior. They care about the student and go out of the way to help each child succede. Diversity of student body and strength of program (International Baccalauret Program) make this school a real winner in my opinion.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
