When we started at this school several years ago we thought it was a great fit. The classes had a solid curriculum, a lead teacher in every classroom, and varied activities to keep the children's interest. In the past 6 months the staff turnover has been alarming, often with teachers cycled in and out in a month's time. The quality of new teachers has also not been up to the same standard as the group that was there when we started. There does not seem to be an education plan, but more of a babysitting feel. Often due to staffing classrooms are overcrowded, sometimes close to 30 kids with 2-3 teachers. This is a great school with a lot of opportunities if they can straighten out their staffing/turnover issue.

Unsatisfactory experience, high teacher turnover, poor teacher-parent communication, no educational or didactic continuity, inexperienced teachers, chaotic classrooms, unfriendly staff.

Unfortunately my child's experience at the Cambridge School has been extremely negative. My son is in the preschool program and has changed seven teachers in less than six months, most of whom quit without notice( probably because of bad relationships with the management staff). The classroom is chaotic and uncontrollable, especially at drop-off and pick-up, most of the times the children do not know who is going to be their "teacher for the day" (surprise!) and it's confusing and disorienting, not to say totally unprofessional. If you seek a good school, look somewhere else.

Cambridge is an excellent school which we highly recommend. The staff and teachers are fantastic - they truly care and engage the kids in learning. Our oldest was very prepared for elementary school when she moved on thanks to their program. Children as safe ans secure. Great communication. Great environment overall.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
