It is a nice school. I just wish there was a advanced program, other than enrichment. One that is like TD, except for gifted kids. In math, I've been bored for the past couple of weeks, because we're going too slow. When I tried out for the elementary musical, I didn't feel like I got a fair chance. I also wish I could have gone to the spelling bee. There was one girl in the other class that went last year and got to go. They told me that if you went the year before, you can't go. The kids in my class didn't even make it past round 4 or 5. The girl that went last year, got out super early both years, while last year I was one of the two from our school that finished in the top 4 in our grade level. There also is not enough homework, this is supposed to be a prep school, but we don't even get homework half the time. The high school actually gets more homework but it is cut down on Wednesdays, while no one else gets homework then. If you want your child to be challenged, if they are gifted, or actually given a fair chance if you can't volunteer for alot of things, then choose somewhere else. The only exception is if you are a military family and they will only be there for up to 3 yr

I have four children that have been at CVCS for 7 years. The school is family to us. The academics and class size are unbeatable. The quality of teachers is superb and the teachers take a personal interest in each family. I would recommend it to anyone looking for high academic standards as well as Christian character development.

This is an outstanding school. My son was in kindergarten there and I could not believe what he learned...he was able to read and do wonderful with Math at the end of the year. He also had incredible role models around to help develop his Christian character.

This school is excellent from a spiritual, character-building and academic standpoint. Both of my children graduated from the school and benefited from it. In fact, it was instrumental in helping my daughter change the focus of her life.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
