This technical school serves students from all school districts in Chester County as part of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. It is not a place for low academic performers or lazy students. The principal stated at a reception 'all faculty and students choose to be here' which is an accurate reflection of the engagement level. CAT-B has forged valuable relationships with employers, post-secondary schools and national student organizations (FBLA, STAR/VICA, et al) and draws from this strength and diversity to train and prepare young people for a productive life. The facility has well-equipped classroom with areas for theoretical and practical learning. My student (who attends high school half day and CAT-B half day) has thrived in this challenging and supportive environment. Upon CAT-B graduation they will be able to use college credits earned here toward a university degree. All staff are accessible and professional.
