The sense of sisterhood at Villa cannot be emulated by any other institution. Our faith based tradition allows us to live and learn, interconnected, establishing long lasting bonds and friendship. Everyone at Villa is recognized for their God-given uniqueness and talents. Villa will bring out the best in you, and by that I mean each other.

Two of my daughters graduated from VMA within last few years. Both were accepted at highly selective colleges, and were well prepared for success. My youngest daughter is a current student. Early on she encountered some difficulties due to staffing problems, but this appears to have been satisfactorily resolved by the administration over the past year or so. I would rate all of her current teachers as very good to excellent. Many fine extracurricular activities, and a wide variety of athletic offerings including several not usually offered at smaller schools. Tuitions are always a concern, but we feel Villa has been well worth the investment.

I and my sister and my mother and most recently my daughter graduated from Villa. Since my daughter graduated and entered college, I would say that they did not prepare her for college in the math and science area. Her English teachers did a great job. All in all not worth the cost. Consider Collegiate.

Having lived in Montgomery County, MD (home of the #2 high school in the country) I can honestly say there is much more to our childrens' education than strictly academics. Developing a well rounded, critical thinking, honest, happy adults is what I want for all children. Not stressed-out children who spend their adolescence prepping their resume for college acceptance. I am an alumnae, current teacher,and future parent of a VMA student. I strongly believe VMA produces well rounded, articulate, ethical leaders because of the diverse programs it offers it's students. Not only do we offer a span of educational programs from academic support, academic classes, honors classes, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses; but Villa also has an incredible Leadership Program. Our English Department is second to none in this city.

This school was good to bring students close together, however, many of the teachers lack the talent to properly prepare students for college.

I have had 6 children go through VMA. The teachers have been wonderful! And the administration has been very understanding and supportive of our needs. VMA has a strong sense of tradition--Mary's Day, Sports Day, Celebrate Gifts. The academics have been solid, and each of my children found an academic and social niche. VMA is very special. I sent my children there, even though we live 40 miles away!

Everyone says that this school is a good school but I have gone to this school and it really is getting worse and worse. They are more worried about the way the students wear their uniforms rather than the academics. They just want us to look good for whatever policeman they seem to bring in that day. Villa may be expensive and you think that its a good school but don't send you children there in the future.
