Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

We moved my son to Aquinas Academy after a terrible kindergarten year at public school. We have absolutely loved his teachers and the principal and the environment he is in. Everyone greets you and is genuinely happy to see my son there. He also loves going to school more this year and has enjoyed learning about religion while in school.

Aquinas Academy is a great place to send a child. Children learn Christian values and the discipline of hard work is instilled in the kids daily. There is a positive atmosphere with an energetic principal and staff. And of course the freedom to openly pray daily and thank God for his blessings.

I love Aquinas Academy because my 3 daughters do! My girls and I always have felt that the school has offered the best to us in every which way they could. I feel that parents and the school are both responsible in charging their children to become well-rounded, spiritual and community-minded individuals. And Aquinas Academy not only surpasses in this aspect, but excels in their academics and family-like, faith-filled atmosphere. AQUINAS ACADEMY ROCKS!

My son has attended Aquinas Academy since the age of 3. He is now 13. This is his last year at Aquinas as he will move onto high school next year. The seed was planted in his mind at the age of 3 for learning and practicing strong values. In this world today we forget sometimes the simple but important values such as kindness, good manners, and faith. These (3) values are practiced daily at Aquinas. Values that will follow our son throughout his life.

We love the smaller student/teacher ratio regarding class size. The kids in their perspective grades get to know eachother very well. Community, education and use of technology have a strong base at Aquinas and have been taught since preschool We celebrate our Holidays and the reasons for them. We are ever mindful of the importance of a faith based education in an ever changing world. It is the one constant that can be relied upon. Aquinas Academy can be counted as part of that constant for our children.

Aquinas Academy is a great school, because my child gets to be open about praying. The integrate all students into activities that the student can excel in. My 5th grade boy just told me today that one child in his class doesn't do well in large groups, so he is just seated with one other child at lunch, and has a very nice time. The child is rotated so he gets a chance of integrating with all the boys in his class, and hopefully, soon, will be able to handle larger groups.

Quality education and Catholic values would be why all parents seek out a parochial school. But Aquinas is so much more, everyone there really cares about the children, families and community. There is no finer example I would want set for my child than the one at Aquinas Academy.

Aquinas Academy is a great school. Here are some of the reasons that parents like this school: Teachers really care, they will meet with you any time to discuss your child and their progress. They teach love, understanding and respect to the students, and that filters down to how students treat each other.

Aquinas Academy has been wonderful for our daughter and, by extension, for our family. Experiencing divorce, a change in custody, and then a relocation to a strange place 600 miles away all before her 6th birthday, it was an extremely tough time for what was then a very timid little girl trying to find her way in the world. So when it came time to find a school, we were looking for much more than just a place to enroll . . . we hoped to discover a school family that we could trust, a place that we knew would provide the education, structure, and values that were so important to us and so necessary for our then-kindergartner. Aquinas Academy has been that place. Our (now middle school-aged!) daughter is a poised, confident, and well-prepared young lady we couldn't be more proud of.

Among the many great things this school has done for my children, three rise to the top: 1. The principal, teachers, and support staff believe in high academic standards for everyone. Very few schools advocate such effort for each and every student. 2. Including faith as part of the school day is as important as any other part of the schools missions. It s not just about Catholic Faith, it s about Christian Faith. 3. The curriculum prepares students for the future. The kids are ready for challenges that they will face as they finish growing up, academically as well as socially.

Our school is a family. We have strong support from all teachers. My daughter has OCD and last year was a real struggle for her. She had so much love and concern shown for her. We got her help and she's back at school and doing great. They were all there for her and me. My son struggles with social skills and he's a typical boy, but we've had help and support with him too. I wouldn't have my children any where else.

It is a small Catholic school. All of the faculty and staff know my children by name; in turn, my children know all of them. They know that they are accountable for their actions. I am able to volunteer often and at my own discretion. When I am in school, I am bound to hear something about one of my children (good or bad) from someone. And, I like that!

As a former teacher and a parent of former students, I am proud to say I was a part of Aquinas Academy. This Catholic school is filled with a student body, a group of teachers, and a staff that work together as a family. As a teacher I received support and guidance. I love that the teachers here are so passionate about what they teach their kids and how they teach it. Not only are they learning writing, reading and arithmetic, they are learning the importance of giving, the understanding of patience, and the drive to make a difference. It would be great for every school in America to follow the lead of this very small, but very focused school. It has not only helped my son become a good person, but it is helping our entire family in becoming better people and doing more for our community. In the end, that's what it's all about! The kids that attend Aquinas Academy are making this world a better place!!!

Aquinas Academy is a Catholic school built on a solid legacy of faith-filled Gospel values. Children are taught the importance of forming ahealthy relationship with God, their peers, families, neighbors, faculty and all they wish to serve. Service learning is a vital part of the Aquinas Academy curriculum. Children come to realize that they benefit through their service to others. Children are taught respect for themselves and others. They know that they are loved by God, their family at home and their family in school. The family spirit of Aquinas Academy is one of acceptance and love. Children are always encouraged to do their best and use their God-given gifts to become the best persons they can be. The curriculum at Aquinas Academy is strong academically and spiritually. The environment is loving, caring, safe and disciplined. It is a wonderful place to be.
