My son began in 2nd grade and had bit of a time getting into the groove of things and making friends.. I reminded him he is there to learn not make friends, though he suffered a bit, I also reminded him he has friends, just not there at that school and its still the best education he will get in this area. The academics are tough but I am happy we stuck with it. He is now going into 9th and gets along well with everyone there. I believe his classmates all matured together, including himself. Almost like brothers and sisters that are forced to get along because they have no choice. I am happy to see him learning as much as he is and has, and most all the teachers and secretaries are absolutely amazing, hardworking people, extremely wonderful- kind, loving and patient with every single child! Everyone there is out to help and see the children thrive and grow spiritually as well, which is an important factor you will rarely if ever, find in public schools, from my own experience. My daughter is entering kindergarten and is very excited, as she already knows most everyone there from events her older brother has attended and she has come to grow with the ICS family and ease right in to the academics and wonderful staff there:) This school is definitely a keeper!

i give it 3 stars. The Material And Teachings were very hard and even though many people tried to help me they couldn't get to the point where they could understand the concepts. I had good and bad experiences. Most people there were nice but not all of them you can consider good friends. The one teacher is a really nice guy but he wanted things done in the exact way he wanted them to be done and because of me having Aspergers syndrome i was really confusing and i don't think it was just me because a few students left besides me and i think i was probably the only one with a mild autistic disorder but i don't know because it is getting more common but its more common in boys and i'm a girl. The material in the other teachers room was easier but i feel like he didn't take as much time to show me the concepts. Also I did a Term paper on PITBULL DOGS and i got a 60% just because he assumed i was copying off the internet even though i didn't but because i used more advanced language he assumed i copied and also i did not even though i did use the internet for help. It got me really ticked off since it was a paper i spend most of my days working on it and still failed .

My children started ICS in junior high,The academics were harder than what they were used too but their teacher and staff have done everything to help them succeed. In public school my daughter was bullied and had few friends, at ICS everyone is loving and caring to her. You feel like family and that your opinion matters at this school. The kids are not lost in the shuffle like public school. They are not just a number but are treated fairly and are given the gift of learning about God. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants their children to be known by all staff, teachers and students. The tuition is reasonable compared to another local private school and the fundraising is not that bothersome. My children and I love ICS

Great school. My son went K-3 but the school is K-12, teachers are wonderful. We are moving away and we have no choice but to move our child to another school. Small class size meant my child receiving special attention to resolve some learning and behavioral issues. The principal is excellent and he personally helped my child. I am a non believer and my wife is catholic, my son is being raised catholic, and his beliefs were respected. Expect a very strong emphasis in religious education, a couple of fundraisers a year, and being asked to volunteer, but if you don't is not a problem. School feels like family. There is a degree of diversity, although it does not reflect the town's population yet. Unlike other places in town, we never felt different although we are a minority. We felt welcome. I am in favor of uniforms and the dress code is balanced. Go to ICS if you are looking for individual attention, academic excelence, teaching of values (specially christian values) and an affordable private education. They will do everything they can to help your child succeed.

I love everything about this school..The teachers are second to none. They love the children and love their ministry(teaching). Each child has the benefit of not only receiving a great education, but also is shown and taught the love of Christ. I'm sure my son would be quite different if I did not send him to Immanuel Christian School.

An amazing demonstration of God's love is found here. High academic standards, but not at the neglect of character training. Teachers are professional and loving, opportunities for extra curricular activities such as choir, drama, basketball, track. A real blessing.

My son attended ICS for two years and then went to another school for one year, and I can tell the quality education he received at ICS is by far uncompared especially with the care and compassion from the teachers and administrators!
