Barrett is a great school because everyone there is dedicated to the students and are committed to helping them achieve excellence.

I completely disagree with the other two reviews. Barrett is comprised of a remarkable staff who puts forth thier best effort each and every day. The staff not only provides an education but also a sense of normalcy in many disfunctional homes. I wish there were more teachers out there that cared that much for thier students. As for homework, my child received homework every Monday-Thursday as a regular routine. All graded assigments are sent home each Tuesday.

Barrett Elementary can improve on the discipline and the behavior problems of the students. I believe that homework should be sent home everyday to reinforce what the child has learned in school that day. It is hard to see or measure the progress if you cannot see what your child is doing in school. I want Barrett to be a better school. There are many talented students at Barrett. The teachers need to be held accountable for the progress of their classrooms.

Barrett Elementary School perhaps could be a nice school, if there were not so many behavior problems. I feel like this takes away from the children learning. My child was a victim of harassment in school. The faculty at Barrett needs to implement better discipline tactics and Anti-Bullying policies. In addition, the teachers need to send home all completed assignments more often during the week, so the parents can see how their children are doing and provide assistance. My child hardly ever has any graded assignments come home, even in the Tuesday folder. However, you can check your child s academic performance online, but you only can see the grades not the actual problems your child got wrong. With improvements, Barrett can become a better school.
