Coming from a Catholic school, I was a bit skeptical at first, as we knew nothing about public education. I have been pleasantly surprised thus far and find the teachers and staff to be warm, compassionate and genuinely concerned about the education of the children of the school. My children are succeeding and doing very well in their classes and I can only hope that this positive vibe continues! We love Cole Manor!

We recently moved from Wissahickon School District and my son went to Mattison Avenue Elementary, which is a WONDERFUL school! My son has been in Cole Manor for almost 2weeks, and the staff that i have dealt with are rude, incompetent, and spiteful towards my child. I had even left a message for the superintendant of Norristown Are School District about 6 days ago and have yet to recieve a call back. I am appalled as a parent, by the way my child has been treated and WOULD NOT reccomend this school AT ALL!!!!!!

I went to Cole Manor as a child and now my daughter goes there. She was at a private school for PreK but I choose to send her to Cole Manor for Kindergaten. I work with a parent that kept her child at the private school and she is shocked to hear my daughter;s progress in reading and math. She is now reading her 1st grade site words. I credit her teacher for her fresh ideas on teaching. We are the class parents and when we visit for class parties we are always impressed how all the staff manages all the children. And how she keeps an orderly classroom of 5-6 year olds, not an easy task. Great School!

I do not know why this school rating is so low as my kid is there since kindergarten.I find the staff, teacher, the activities they do all r excellant. As far as home work and all is related is very perfect even though is couple of pages. Also the projects they do and then the review and the end. the whole process is arranged well. The teacher gives u the feedback very promptly and also in time.Always u will get the answer for yr query. In fact v really like this school. oh ya...also separate play ground for k-1 and 2-4...great......

I think Cole Manor is a good school. I wish they had a program in public schools to teach kids other languages

Academic programs are non-existent. How can a 'school' have only 2 subjects?!?! Math and reading and 1 sheet of homework a night (nothing on the weekends)!!!
