Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Mann Mastery is an awesome school. My child attended kindergarten last school semester. For it to be Kindergarten I loved the curriculum they taught which I felt was kindergarten to second grade work. My child was over their percentage for each report period which was great. Now in First grade I say some Kindergarten to 3rd grade work. The teachers, staff and principal are spectacular. they are also on their game about making sure each child are on their perspective reading levels. I moved from the area of the school last November but, my child remained in the school and has returned for this school semester. Snow and all we were there last semester. Superb School

This is my son's last year attending Mastery-Mann campus, and I have always been impressed with the level of professionalism and hard work that I see from everyone there--from the security guards at the door, the teachers, and the principal, Mr. Bobowski. They have great family events several times a year, and I've always felt that academic and behavior expectations from my son's teachers and the school were very clear. My ONLY complaint is that the field trips don't seem to be educationally-related...my son has been to the skating rink, Sahara Sam's, but not the Franklin Institute or any of the other great museums in Philly. I guess they figure the kids work so hard, that they need to "blow off steam" Lol. Sidenote: I was a teacher in Camden for almost ten years, so I KNOW how hard these teachers work, and how many off-the-clock hours they sacrifice for their students--and it shows! This is a great school!

My granddaughter is in 1st grade. She has had no weekly tests, no projects, haven`t seen any classwork come home since kindergarten. How can you grade children from benchmarks which are every 6 weeks. Weekly tests and nightly studying help children learn. The teacher isn`t the sharpest pen in the bunch either, poor communication. Required to but composition books in September but only see her scribbling in them no work. Not pleased with the education.

My son has attended this school for the second year in a row and I must say I am very pleased with the school overall and its academics. The teachers are always on top of their game always behind the students. Very friendly helpful. Just a great school....
