My clients who attend this school express a sincere like for the biology classes because of the hands on approach and the student directed activities. What they dislike are the classes that have teachers who lecture to much and do not provide self-directed learning opportunities.

Furness school has been a very positive experiance for my son. He is now a junior at Furness. I give the highest praise to his coach and teachers. They have helped whenever we have needed them. No problem is to big or small for tjem to deal with. This is very rare for a Philadelphia Public High School. We need more schools like Furness.
