Great academics in general, however as a graduate a lot is left to be desired in the Hebrew and Judaics Program.

As important as the Jewish values and ethics that are taught at Community Day, the general academics are terrific. I have two very different children at the school and both have had wonderful experiences, academically and socially. I feel confident that my children will be very well prepared to not only carry on the traditions of our faith but also to succeed in the world in general. Graduates from Community Day have gone on to be leaders in their high schools, both public and private, and gone on to be leaders in both the general and Jewish communities, as well.

My daughter just started kindergarten this year and I was very worried about her transition, but my fears were soon dissipated by the warmth of the teachers (Mrs. Browdie and Miss Levine), the school administration (Avi Barun Monro and Judy Goldman), and most importantly the parents and the children who attend the school. There is not a single part of the school day that my daughter does not enjoy. I was a product of private schooling and am a firm believer and supporter of private schools, but my experience to date at Community Day surpasses my own wonderful memories. Her day is filled with art, music, gym, reading, writing, math and Hebrew and Judaica studies. She comes home every day with a new Hebrew song, a story she heard in class or a picture she drew in art class. It's a full day, but I have never doubted my decision.
