I feel they send some pretty well rounded young adults out in this world.The teachers work with the students and try to teach them the values that they will need to succeed in life.Our students also take a interest in our community to help better it.

I find the class sizes of the school very inviting. They are small which should allow for more one on one time between teachers and students. The school district runs the busses and this is where a problem is. I have witnessed several safety and traffic violations by the bus drivers in this district and think that there is a problem there.

The teachers are very well grounded and do not just go through the motions, they connect positvely with the students. The small size of each graduating class has its pros and cons. The cons centered around funding limitations due to the small size of the rural area it serves. Administration leaves a lot to be desired. Old school operation mentality and lack of vision other than the benefit to a select small inside group of individuals. Husband and wife - superintendent and Board member run the district. Board member voted to hire her daugther to be the Business Office Manager. ANother Board member was given a school bus contract that was a safety disater and till this day continues to be a safety matter with school bus drivers ignoring simple safety requirements when stopped picking up students. Parents are required to provide transportation for students for other than sports events (music/academic).

Weatherly was a wonderful school to attend. Many of my educational experiences I took with me throughout my life and WHS prepared me for my future endeavors.
