Tenth Street Elementary School

it is the best school in the districts. the kids and parents are great and the staff is the best!!!

Tenth Street Elementary school is superb compared to the other schools that I have experienced. The attention given to eacch individual student, and curriculum are truly outstanding in comparison to elemantary schools of other states which are well below the criteria required for the designated grade levels. The teachers really put in a great effort to help the children who are behind. I am truly at ease knowing that my child is receiving his education from Tenth Street Elementary school. The school has seriously hindered my decision to relocate. I would also love for my other children to attend Tenth Street which is why I have decided to remain in the Wyoming area.

Excellent principal leadership who instills sense of responsibility in students for each other and their school community, making students part of the solution. Although lacking in extracirricular activites, unless your child is athletic, the surrounding communities make up for this shortfall. The teaching professionals, combined, have many years experience who exhibit their skills with committment and affection for not only the school community but most importantly for each student on an individual basis.

Having two children in this particular school I must say that my children are receiving an exceptional education from an outstanding group of teachers. But I can say the same for the entire school district. Wyoming Area is an education leader in the Wyoming Valley of Northeast PA and will continue to be considering the great staff of educational professionals. If anyone is intending on relocating to the Wyoming area rest assured that your children will receive the best education available. Respectfully, James McGovern
