The teachers are passionately dedicated to the care and feeding of their students, against great odds.

I used to go to Hannah Penn Middle School and i thought it was an exellent school to attend. The only reason I go to New Hope Academy Charter School is because I moved but if the choice was mine I would have attended the full three years instead of two. I was in many extracuricular activites such as, 21st Century, chorus, band, and track. I enjoyed all my classes and exell in math and social studies, math, and science thanks to teachers like Mrs.Szoszorek and Mrs.Stauffer. If I still live in this city as an adult I will enroll my child to Hannah Penn Middle School.

Hannah Penn is a great school to attend. I'm an 8th grader and am active in activites in this school. The teachers are understanding yet disiplinary, the programs grab our attention and help us with scores, and the food is great! It's because of thier push and strive to help me learn that I have a 12th grade reading level. Hannah Penn Quakers are the best and I truely mean that!

My daughter currently attends Hannah Penn and with everything in my power I am trying to get her into a charter or academy school. This school is nothing like it used to be. I attended this school when I was younger and the kids these days are nothing like they used to be. There is no respect, and no caring about another person. If I have anything to do with it, my daughter will not be going to this school next year.

My daughter has attended Hannah Penn for three years and I've found the school to be nothing more than a hangout for teens, education seems to be the least important thing to the administrators. The students fight constantly. It's absurd. In all fairness to the teachers, some of them are exceptional and really do care. Without the support of the administrators and district though, it's a tough job on them to try to make an impact on students in just one short period each day.

I am very disappointed with this school and the district overall. There is no control over the students, nor any respect for authority to be seen. I am trying everything in my power to remove my daughter from this district before any further 'situations' occur that they 'have no control over.' There is no focus on what thes children are going to do with their lives, education is not a priority, getting funding for underacheiving seems to be what matters.

My daughter has spent two years in this school and I am totaly disappointed in the lack of control over the students. I can not wait to get her out of there and into a safer school.
