My grandaughter started here and I am so happy with the progress she has made towards her learning experience and her socialization. Now she cries to go to Montessori and I have to coax her to get her things and come home with me. She is very happy here. She is in Kindergarten and between Montessori and her Public Kindergarten, has learned to read. I'm very pleased. Also, the bus is so handy to take her to and from public school. The Montessori Philosophy is a more loving and caring format rather than punative, a better way to learn.

As a parent, it is vital to understand the Montessori philosophy. If you don't know what to look for and understand what you are seeing, a Montessori approach may seem disorganized and chaotic. Parents need to visit the school frequently, be involved, ask questions. Staff at this school are qualified but sometimes burned out by parents not understanding the Montessori approach. This is not a place to simply drop off your kids 8 hours...you need to be interested in their education.

The growth that our daughters have displayed in the year they have attended this school is truly amazing. We have one five year old and one three year old and after a month they were coming home beginning to speak in French, learning to count, learning the calendar and knowing the names and locations of the states. After a year, we are still amazed at the things they have learned and how much they understand. We initially were going to keep the girls in Montessori until they could attend public school, but now plan to keep them in Montessori for as long as we can, hopefully until middle school.

Disorganized, a general 'holier than thou' attitude towards parents.
