Independent Study has allowed my child to learn and advance at his pace rather than waiting for other students to finally comprehend. In one school year my son completed 1 1/2 math books, 1 1/3 History books, 5 science books, 1 2/3 English books. His Teacher(retired now) was the best. He was a very compassionate, patient and very intelligent person. He treated my son with respect and honesty and recieved the same. Other then the isolation and lack of social develoement general school offers Independent Study is an excellent choice for the above average students who are independent learners and self motivated. I must also comment on the Principal, he too has my vote as the best Principal a Mom could ever have. He was very supportive, easy to talk to and really cares about our kids. Thank you everyone!
