I am a parent and I have both of my daughters at Round Valley School. My one daughter is in the 3rd grade and my other daughter is in the 1st grade. My daughter in the 1st grade has autism and they have done an amazing job in working with her. I am thankful for Round Valley everyday. I am also a former student of Round Valley and am thankful that my daughters get to have the same educational experience that I was able to if not better.

Round Valley Elementary, although a small rural school, offers a close family atmosphere with plenty of support for students and parents. The teachers are there because they genuinely care about the kids. The school has recently built a new library and science lab, and purchased lap top computers/stations for the students. Through district funds, grants, foundation and community contributions Round Valley Elementary is bringing new programs and opportunity to the students and families. We are a small school with a big heart and en even bigger desire to provide the best for our kids - we love Round Valley Elementary!!!!

R.V.J.E.S. has a very exciting and learned faculty with terrific parent participation in and involvement with the students and faculty. Round Valley is continuously expanding the extra curricular activities offered.

Although the community is not a wealthy one, the student to teacher ratio makes this the best choice in the Inyo-Mono County area. Lots of parents drive their child the extra 30 minutes out of their district from Mammoth Lakes to use this highly rated elementary school. Focus is largely on acedemics. As with all the Inyo-Mono School systems, Round Valley lacks the abundance of extracurricular activities of big city schools. But then again, who wouldn't want to raise their child in the middle of the national wilderness area. Our kids do have plenty to do, its just somewhat more limited in variety due to our small community populations.
