this school is a 'hidden' treasure. the teachers are wonderful and really care. it has a lot to offer children of all races and socio-economic levels.
It's a very culturally diverse school, something that reflects the compsition of Oklahoma City accurately. The quality of teaching is high enough that my oldest was invited to apply for several of the magnet and charter schools in OKC due to the child's test scores. This is a very good public school in my view. It's very easy to approach the teachers with questions. Several of the teachers have their children going there, which should tell you about the qulaity the teachers feel is there, too. My only complaint would be I wish the district could afford teaching assistants again, and that OKC schools in general have crappy school food, and there's not much money for field trips these days.
