My daughter is finishing kindergarten at Rover and LOVES this school! There is a solid incorporation of art in learning and the she responds very well. My daughter is reading currently at the first grade level, as are some other class mates and I give the teacher and school a lot of credit for this. Also, the school has a 'no bully' policy that they recite every morning. I think it works, because the kids all seem to support each other.
This is the first year for my kids at Rover, and I can see the progress, they doing better in all areas, I am so happy that they attend this school.

The high retention rate of the teachers says it all. You can't have a great school without great teachers and Rover's experienced teachers are the best (there are many). Rover also does an excellent job of mentoring it's new teachers. Rover has the same high academic standards as we always have but the new principal has managed to bring a new warmth and sense of community to the school. He is dedicated to his staff, the parents and most importantly, the students. Rover is a public school with a private or charter school sense of warmth and parental involvement. The school is very open and welcoming to the entire family. We're lucky to have this little gold mine right in our back yard!
