i am currently a student attending this independent study program and i would have to say that i am satistied with the one-on-one attention that i have recieved from my teacher.. of all the teachers i have come to notice that Rob Large seems to be on top of his work and more organized and prepared to meet his students' needs than others. ive had a few different teachers since i have enrolled in this program and i have been extremely happy under Rob.. but the downside to this program was trying to teach myself algebra 2 last year and my standardized testing scores proved my incredible struggles. i would suggest a tutor for any courses you have difficulty with. and get a tutor quick!!! or else you may find yourself falling behind.

Excellent teachers that care and help the child be responsible and accountable. School is accredited by WASC, which is nice. Nice alternative to traditional school.

This school is the only independent study high school in the area that offers the highest level of academics. The teachers develop long lasting replationships with their students and go way abaove and beyond to provide the best tailored education for my child.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
