We recently moved to the area, from Europe, and have found a GEM of a school, in Kernville Elementary! We couldn't be more pleased. Our kids are 5 & 8 (K & 2nd grade). Before our move I had been in contact with Mrs Delapp, the principal, via e-mails. She always took time out of her busy day to answer my questions and concerns. mrs Delapp, the teachers, the staff and even the other parents and students have made an effort for our kids to feel welcome, and to help in their adjustment, The kids have loved the school from day one. They get extra help on Thursdays with a reading specialist and are catching up with the other students. We are thrilled with both their teachers. They are both very pleasant, helpful and organized. We couldn't ask for more.

My grandson has gone to Kernville Elementary since Kindergarten and is now in the 4th grade. Kernville Elementary is like a private school where the child definitely comes first. This is a small and caring school where teachers, staff and the principal know all of the children s names and give each child that personal touch that we as parents and grandparents appreciate. The teacher s work hard to encouraged each child to do its very best. My grandson loves going to school and never wants to miss a day even if sick. Thank you for giving my grandson such a good scholastic foundation!
