My children have been attending this school since kindergarten. They are currently in the 5th and 8th grades. Because of the small school atmosphere, the care and attention given to each child is on a more personal basis than it would be in a larger school. I can see how this could be perceived as the young children being treated like 'preschoolers' as the last person wrote, but it's more that they are treated like the precious little children that they are. I admit the children at our school are 'spoiled' to a certain extent. We have lots of parties and 'spirit days' and a lot of fun activities. This being said, the test scores (Iowa) and AR points from our students prove that the students are well above the National average in testing and reading. Enrollment has almost doubled in the past few years. That speaks volumes.

This school is uptight and small with unfriendly junior highers and a poor curriculum which only teaches history and geography the first part of the year. The second graders are treated like preschoolers and are taught like preschoolers.

This school is a small and personable. They have a strong academic program. Computers are intergrated into almost every aspect of the curriculum. They also have a choir and bell choir program. Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated. This school takes regular academic field trips.
