ScienceHill School is a good school. although they do not have enough help with the students. They are supposed to have Ar points, but it is hard to do when the computers work half the time.I am not pleased with the way the Prinicapal ,Runs the school.or some of the Teachers.

Science hill elementary has a step above the other elementary schools in this area. The children are the number one priority at this school. When you have such a wonderful enviroment as they do, the testing scores show! parent/teacher relationships go hand in hand, parents are encouraged to participate in every way. When you walk through the halls of this school you can feel the pride that the staff and students have for their school. The cleanliness and the colorful artwork throughout the halls invite you into a place where learning is expected as well as fun.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
