I've had four children of my own attended this school, and I can not say enough about the teachers and staff. They are simply put wonderful in all aspects. They go they extra mile, my first child was right on track and did not need any additional services, however my second child was behind in reading so she attended Title I Reading which helped tremendously. Then along came the twins, who have many learning challenges; in the Oak Grove School District I feel confident that they will still receive the education that they need to be successful in life. The teachers have honored any and all of my wishes when it has come to my children, and I know when I call on them for help that they will be there. They encourage parent involvement and let the parents know when their child needs extra help. I will always recommend them.

Our child's first year of school was wonderful but as leadership changed so did the school's ability to care for the children as individuals. If your child is even somewhat/slightly above or below the average then I would highly discourage you from enrolling your child/children in this school. Disappointing truly cannot even begin to describe the way we now feel about our child's education.

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have both of our children in the Primary building. This school has the 'entire package' and I am so glad that my children will have this for their educational foundation. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful and caring.

I graduated for Oak Grove in 1998. I was a student in the disrict since my kindergarten year. My dream was to return to Oak Grove as a teacher, which says a lot about the district. I was a teacher at Oak Grove Primary for two years! I was devasted to have to leave, but my husband was stationed in Japan! This school is amazing! The staff is wonderful! The teachers are always willing to put the best interest of the students first! I hope to return to OG to teach when I move back to the area! I would want nothing more than to have my children attend this school! Keep up the good work!

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
