Well, it's 2009 and I'm a student at SDHS. I like it here but I think we are spending money on stuff that realy wasn't needed and could be spent on a more useful area. It's still nice but if you want to learn here be ready to work.

I'm not a parent but I am a student at SDHS. I will be a senior this year and have really enjoyed the past three years at this school. SDHS is a building that holds many great and talented teachers and staff. They have truely made an impact on our lives whether we tell them or not. Our school has a great edu. system, though the time crunch for SOL's is very difficult and our school is in dire need for remodeling. I do have to say that the condition our school is in does actually distract us from learning. I love SDHS and I hope you will to!

The first of 3 children has just graduated from SDHS. I am very pleased with the education she received. She was accepted to every college she applied. The guidance dept. is fantastic. Use their Website,it's very helpful! Our second daughter is a junior this year. She has chosen not to attend the Governor's school, they are keeping her on a challenging course load. She will be able to compete for her space in College as well. The buliding is in need of repair (ESP the restrooms!) The girls wished for more dances! Overall, I look forward to each of our children to graduate from SDHS and be successful in life.
