St. John's school is like a family. Everyone cares about each other and everyone helps out. The teachers and administration truely care about the students. They welcome everyone when they enter the building. The school is very diverse and the catholic identy theme each year is awesome. My children love going to school everydays and get upset if they miss a day. The parent involvement is another very important component in the school. In addition the school teaches the students about giving to the community and work with the students doing community service projects.
This is a good, safe school, but unfortunately the class size is not 17 to 1, as listed here. It's closer to 28 - 30 to 1. Some classrooms are so crowded that it's difficult to walk around. If St. John's had twice the number of teachers, it would be truly excellent. As it is, it is just adequate.
Great school...we are a military family and just moved to the area, my son is in the first grade and loves his new school. The staff and teachers are excellent. Thank you, St. John's for making our transition so easy.
