The school has gone through a lot of changes in the past couple of years. New administration and many excited new teachers have brought about positive growth. It is still a small school and may not offer the variety of options that a larger school can provide.

I am a member of the class of 2008, and I am a junior currently. There are the good points of southwick schools, but honestly I do not like here at all. I sleep through all my accel classes and I have mostly straight A's. There are defintly some problems in the admistration, and there problems among the school that the admistration does not address and when students and parents try to get them to address they don't. Our sport teams are pretty good at least.

Raising a second child going through Powder Mill Middle School is stressful. I Who's watching the cookie jar in this school? Let's wait until high school for the note taking and give our child the books and resources they deserve to do well!

I think that this school needs to work on thier 'policy' and start acting like they care instead of just saying that they do. The teachers dont know anything the princables dont know what they're doing. That school is so un organized that it pushes away more students then they are letting in.
