My son has attended Riverside for 4 years. His transformation from a rough edged kindergartner to a gregarious student of history and social sciences has been amazing. My son is categorized as learning disabled so this change is such a gift. I credit this to the integrated approach the school has taken along with the leadership exhibited by the principal. It is a diverse school with active parent and community involved. I really appreciate this connectedness as a parent. And it demonstrates what can be the very best of public education. I wish I had gone to Riverside!

Riverside, by far, competes with the private schools available in the Princeton area. My son is challenged academically but the school recognizes what supports a child needs to achieve great success both academically and socially. Riverside is a parent's dream come true!

Programs are geared to high pressure and success for academically oriented students. Special services are extensive if needed. Limited extracurricular and sports. High parental involvement. Too much focus on individual needs and not on the level of everyone is the same. If your child is advanced or ready for that high pressue scenario to overacheive, this school will work for you.
