My grandson has a problem with reading --he has not been diagnosed dyslexic but he sees things and writes them as though this could be the case. He has felt badly in the past because he has been made to feel like he was not very bright and in his words " stupid''. He began school in a Catoosa county school where focus was placed only on the kids who were excelling and little attention was paid to our concerns about his problem. His teacher at Rossville not only noticed his struggles but listened to our concerns. He has recieved additional help and is doing very well--he excels in reading comprehension and is improving his writing. He has learned that he can do many things he felt he could not and has improved self-esteem. He would have been lost in the shuffle had he not come to Rossville Elementary.

I am a parent of a son taht attends Rossville Elem. My son used to have a hard time fiting in and didn't want to go to school that all changed when we moved to Rossville. Now he loves his classmates and can't wait to go in the morning thanks so much he has had a pretty hard life so far for a young kid, things are looking up for him now.

This is a very good school with a lot to offer. I am upset that more parents do not attend the afterschool activities and events. My daughters teachers are great and she loves the overall environment. We left Chickamauga City to get away from the 'better than thou' groups that try to run things.

A blog by nature is public territory. If you don't want something to be public knowledge, don't post it on the internet.

Privacy stops when you BLOG. If you want to keep things private - then write in a diary and not on the Internet expecting some kind of privacy.
