this school is great the teachers are the best they will do any thing for u and i just wish i actually payed attention and learned more then i did

I've been comeing to this school ever since I was in kindergarden. We have amazing teachers that will help you with anything you want. I also think that my 8th grade teachers are the best. Seeing how we have 52 students and we only have two classes except for specials and math. Also when mrs.Bustard teaches. This school has given me so many oppertunties since I have been going here and I am going to miss that going in to highschool. You get really close to all of your teachers and they will help as much as they can they stay after school and take study halls to help out also. Yes I do admitt that our sports are not as good as I would like seeing how I play a sport every season. But mostly because our field isn't ready.

I would have to say that overall I am not impressed nor unimpressed with the school. I have found that the level of bullying is ridiculous but that the teachers are willing to help when asked. My son is special needs and he gets the help when he needs it. My problem lies with the lack of parenting in most of the parents that send their kids to school. If they could teach their children manners, it wouldn't be the responsibility of the teaching staff to control the behavior of the students. My daughter is gifted. She is allowed to express her intelligence and given the chance to complete more advanced work yet remain in the classroom. Not too many schools can do that for your child. Trust me, when you have a child on both ends of the spectrum, it isn't too easy to find a good school.

Band does not start until 5th grade, leaving kids at a disadvantage in High School. Art work is graded harshly, risking the possible squelching of creative exploration. There are no intramural sports. Fields are often unusable. For the last two years, boys basketball practices were 2.5 hours long, girls were only 1 hour. We had no weekend or vacation practices, but other schools in our league did. Parents or recruited teachers coach. Without outside training/coaching, athletes have a difficult time competing at High School level. Very few children continue drama in High School. Children are allowed to leave classes to just hang out in the music room. Teachers who truly care, seem to be burning out.
