Whitko High School is beginning to be recognized state wide for it's art department. The art teacher, Mr. Malicki, may look old, but he is one of us. He makes my day better!! Thanks Mr. Malicki! P.S. The athletes at Whitko rock too.
I was home schooled when i was young and I was afraid I would not have a good experience when I went to public school for the first time at sixth grade. I am going into eighth grade, I get tought a lot and I have fun.
I love Whitko. I am proud to say that my children attend this school. I have two in the elementary school, one in the middle school and one in the high school. We moved here 4 years ago. The school my children went to previously did not compare to the education my children receive at Whitko. The teachers care about the kids education. The art program is great, Mr. Malicki is a wonderful teacher. The elementary teachers are excellent too. This school district is lucky to have the Sprunger's as teachers. To those amazing teachers thank you for all you've done! I would recommend Whitko schools above any other in IN!
It is small, but it very very good academically. The sat scores are among the highest in the state. You know everybody there. The teachers are excellent and help you out alot. The security is amazing. The only way you are able to get in is by pressing a button and then the camera looks at you and the front desk secretary can speak to you from the front office and ask you who you are and what your doin trying to get inot school. the Extracurricual Activities are also amazing. Wrestling won the confrence for its 7th or 8th year in a row. Football had a huge turnaround, as did basketball. The art program is amazing. students are always in the nationals it seems like. And the Agricultre progam, is the exact same. They seem to always be going to Nationals and International competitions. I beilive it is the best.
