I attend this school. I am truly lucky to go to this school because the teachers teach you more than just the basics, learning. They teach you how to be a good and productive member of society. In one of my middle school classes, we have to write a paragraph about a motto chosen by our teacher each week. Every week the motto is inspirational and they always make you think very hard and understand what community really means and also how to be thankful. The percentage of kids in honors classes is very high. I'm sure that many kids that graduate from this school will be wonderful members of society, and maybe even the leader of this country. This school is by for the best in Virginia.
As a parent of three children who have attended Cape Henry from preK through grade 12, I can attest to the great education they received from Cape Henry. All three of my children were very well prepared for the rigors of college and life in general. I was always impressed with the wonderful learning environment, the caring faculty and the amount of time they invested in each of my children. My kids were able to play sports and go on some pretty unbelievable trips to foreign lands with their classmates. This was by far the best money I have ever spent.
Cape Henry is an excellent school. The staff, administration and all support personnel are devoted to give the students an awesome, well-rounded education experience. Their science and tech building is unmatched and the Nexus program is extrodinary.
