I think most off the teachers do a good job. This is my 4th year as a parent helper. I've seen them come and go. I have two daughters that have attended SFA; and have been blessed with the best teachers for both! Mrs.C Smith was 1st then Mrs. Demars they both show their love for teaching and for the kids! Then Mrs. Hutchin & Mrs. ST.Pe` again they show their love for the kids and teaching. All 4 teachers did great with my girls. My oldest even did a paper on Mrs. Smith for her 3rd grade class [Mrs.Smith was her Kindergaren teacher]. The music teacher Mrs. Wagenseller is the best she really put her heart and soul into her work with the kids. She puts on a 50's program every year for the kids! So the have something special to remember about their first few years in school. The parents get to watch but it's done for the kids!

All around a good school, but I think that it lacks in qualified teachers. A lot of them are just beginning, therefore it is hard to determine where your child stands. Also have a problem with new teachers not knowing how to discipline correctly, one student who was doing nothing gets picked on, by another child, and only the child who responds to the original bullying child gets in trouble. Needs to be equal for both children. Other than that the bus system is not very good at all.
