Gaiser is fine but i did alot better in elementary .But i can't blame it completely on the school but prior to algebra i just relearned stuff i learned in elementary

Every review that I have read about the kids liking Gaiser is due to the lack of teaching that is going on in their classrooms. Spending a full day with my son was shocking. There were kids using fowl language and dressed inapropriately, running between classrooms to 'borrow a pencil' or get something from a friend. Overall, it was just a madhouse with little or no control of the kids or their time. I felt the classes were to short (30minutes or so) due to a class they now have called advisory that has been squeezed in to their schedule. There was overcrowding in their classes with as many as 57 children in one class with one teacher. A day care could have taught my son more than this so called 'school'.
I went to Gaiser for my 6th and part of 7th grade year and for the most part loved it. I had the most amazing teachers I could imagine. They were all very friendly and helpfull. They have the best language program I have ever seen in a middle school. They have lots of sports and an amazing variety of extra curricular activities. The biggest problem I had were some of the students. I felt uncomfortable in class sometimes because they would start talking about inapropriate things and made me feel uncomfortable. That is the reason why i switched and I still regret it to this day, 2 years later.
