Cooper is guided by two inspiring leaders that encourage others to grow and lead from where they are. They recognize teachers, students and families as individuals and value each for their unique qualities. Cooper is a warm, caring and safe environment that focuses on student learning through fun, relevant transferable experiences for life. Cooper is concerned about the academic, social and emotional well-being and growth of it's students and is continuously on a quest to improve it's schools practice to be the best it can be.
My two children have been attending Cooper for the past 6+ years. I found the teachers and staff to be exceptional! My oldest daughter is now moving on to middle school and I feel that she is very ready thanks to all the preparation she had at this wonderful school. I am proud to tell people that my children went here. Thank you Cooper for an excellent Elementary experience for my children!
My daughter is attending 1st grade for the second time. Last year we recognized that my daughter was having problems, partly due to the fact that she is ADHD and didn't have all of the basics down to be move to the 2nd grade. I requested that she be held back, the teachers and all related staff immediately brought me in for a review, discussed her problem and proposed a resolution to be acted upon for the following year. I was impressed. I made another request the beginning of the school year this year to have her evaluated for achievement by request of her doctor. Again, they dove into action and provided me with a quick and insightful response. I would recommend this school to any parent.Thank you Cooper for caring about your students and my daughter.
