I really could not be happier with El Dorado! This is my third year there with the first two being on the preschool side and then this year in kindergarten. We had originally planned for him to attend a local public school for kindergarten but at the last minute decided to move him back to El Dorado and that was one of the best decisions we have ever made! He is SO happy! And what he is learning is totally blowing me away. His reading and math skills have increased at an incredible rate. I would recommend El Dorado for anyone who is looking for a challenging but very friendly, open environment for their child!
I could not be happier with El Dorado. I love having two teachers in my son's classroom and the sense of community on the campus is superior to none!
Please disregard the gripes from a few sour grapes. Here's the bottom line from 2 very well-educated parents who looked at over 15 area schools of all types, and have happily remained here at El Dorado for several years; this school provides an accelerated education from a staff that is loving towards the students. Period. If your goals are accelerated education in a loving environment with a great sense of community, come and take a look. This is a really nice school.
As a teacher at El Dorado for 10+ yrs I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with several of June reviews. El Dorado's number 1 priority is our student's education and creating well rounded individuals. As for the owner/director, she is always there for her staff and gives 110% to make EDPS the best it can be. If the teachers are so unhappy then why have a majority of them taught at EDPS for 10 or more yrs. Our school offers low students/teacher ratios and an individualized curriculm so that every child is given the opportunity to succeed. Please don't look at those couple of reviews from sour parents that are never going to be happy at any school their child attends and come see for yourself what El Dorado is all about.
