I don't know what some of these parents are talkin about but this is a great school. they have zero tolerance for bullying or drug and alcohol use. they make all the students well rounded with various subjects and electives to choose from. they are very proud of their school and they show it in the community and at pep-rallies. if your looking for a school for your child, this is the one!!!

I have a student in college and doing very well as a result of going through Sayre. He got college credits while at SHS and that saved the family money as well. The teachers are, for the most par, very good. The principal is remote, but the vice principal, guidance and office staff are great. I also still have a child in the school. It is still very safe and well run. They absolutely do not tolerate kids who want to disrupt classes. They also expect kids to do homework, so kids who don't get detentions. They are a serious school but there is lots of fun and plenty of activities. They have placed some kids in national competition in some of their extracurricular activities, such as FBLA! I am glad our job brought us here!
Sayre High School is one of the best schools that you would want your children to attend. The teachers as well as the administrators have always been very professional. It's not about money, it's about obtaining the best education for your children!

This school is the worst. The school leadership is interested in only themselves. Its about money and prestige at this school. If you are not one of the elite in the area, and let me tell you this area is totally stuck on themselves, then you don't matter. The principal and vice principle are the worst. It's like talking to politicians. The double talk and run around is absurd. Do yourself a favor, go next door to the Athens school district. It is a great school district and they truly care about the kids and parents!
