Point Webster is an amazing school. The academics are in my mind 'easy', but the teachers are always willing to give you work that is higher than others. So, if you are looking for a school in Quincy, Point Webster is a definite choice.
This is your average middle school. The teachers are very nice and stay on curriculum. They get everyone ready for the MCAS which is a nice thing. Although some of the students seem to fight to much and get into trouble. I have been bullied before and the principals and guidance don't seem to help with that. They just suspend the kid...but it never helps. Overall its a pretty nice school...just make sure you hang out with the right people.
It was a good school but the academics were too easy for me. I really didn't enjoy my time with the kids and the teachers were fine.
I have a daughter that is in 6th grade. This is her second yr in Point Webster. The transition from 4th grade to 5th was amazing. My daughter made honor roll for the first time. The 5th grade teachers are a wonderful team. As for the 6th grade teachers we are pleased so far even though it is the begining of the school yr. The staff overall is very helpful.
